Jennifer Behnke – Board of Education President
Jennifer Behnke is an alumni of St. John’s Lutheran School, and has been a member of the congregation since her Confirmation at St. John’s. Her son is also a St. John’s graduate, and a member of the congregation. She has served on the Board of Education for 3 terms, and has served the Congregation in other leadership positions during the last 20 years. Jennifer is the Customer Service Manager for HA International. Jennifer holds a BA in Industrial Psychology from Michigan State University
Art Schroeder has been a member of St. John’s since birth. He was baptized in the old white church, attended St. John’s school from Kindergarten thru eighth grade, graduated and was confirmed in 1975. Art then graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1979. He is currently President of Associate General Laboratories, Inc. and has served on the Board of Education since 2011.
Desiree Trapp has been a part of the St. John’s Lutheran School family since 2012, and became an official church member in 2016. She is serving her third year on the PTO Board, the second as president, and she is a newer member to the School Board. Desiree graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business from Trinity Christian College. While she currently works as a stay-at-home mom, she volunteers for several of St. John’s events and fundraisers and is committed to helping the school flourish through her involvement with the PTO and the School Board. Her children attend St. John’s, and are in preschool 3 and 8th grade. Her oldest (bonus) daughter is a freshman at Illinois State University. She lives in Brookfield with her husband and their children.
Mike Wilson and his wife Lisa became official members of the St John’s congregation in 2015. Mike has two AAS degrees from College of DuPage in Fire Science and Emergency Medical
Services. He is currently a full time professional Firefighter, Licensed Paramedic, and Hazardous Materials Technician for the Hinsdale Fire Department. Mike and Lisa’s daughter
began school at St John’s in January 2017 and since then his drive has been to support the students and congregation of St. Johns in any way he can.
